Staff

Our church is blessed to have a team of individuals that love and serve the Lord together. They are overseers of the ministries of this church, and they work together with a host of volunteer leaders and workers to spread the love of Jesus throughout Desoto Parish and beyond. Each of them have a servant's heart, and they are dedicated to God's work.

    Dr. Chad Hardbarger

    Bro. Chad was born and raised in West Virginia and graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a D. Min. in Expository Preaching. His sole desire is to live his life for the glory of God and proclaim His Word clearly and passionately. He and his wife Marsha have adopted five girls and four boys. When he is not at the church or out on visitation, he enjoys lunch dates with his wife, playing with his kids, and reading books.

    Dr. Doug Donley

    Doug received his Ph.D in Music Theory from the University of North Texas in 2021, but his lifelong call to church music has kept him in various ministerial roles since age 12.  Over the years, he has been a both full- and part-time as a church music minister, keyboardist, choir/praise-team member, flautist, senior adult minister, and librarian.  One of Doug's strongest convictions is that church music must both glorify God and instill good theology in its hearers.  In his spare time, Doug enjoys math, philosophy, and puzzle boxes.

  • Youth Minister

    Ashley Boggs

    Ashley and her husband Bo live in Frierson, Louisiana. She earned a B.A. in Behavioral Science from East Texas Baptist University, where God also called her into student ministry. She is passionate about teaching students the Word of God and how powerfully it can change their lives. Their generation is the biggest missionary field, and students living for Jesus can be world changers. Ashley and Bo have one son, Caden, who they adopted in 2016.

  • Children's Minister

    Marsha Adkison

    Marsha accepted Christ when she was 9 years old at Central Baptist Church in Springhill, LA, and she understands the importance of sharing the gospel with children in a way they can understand and grasp. She has served on our staff since 2011, and she has reached out continually to the children of our community through a variety of ministries, programs, events, and most of all LOVE.

  • Secretary

    Rhonda Cox

    Rhonda loves people, and she enjoys working in our church office as our secretary. We can always count on her to be there for us, and she carries out her duties with excellence. We are very blessed to have her in the office.

  • Custodian

    CAROLYN gOINS

    Carolyn keeps our facilities clean and does everything she can to help us keep everything organized on our church campus. She has a sweet spirit, and a servant’s heart. Thank you, Carolyn, for your hard work and patience with us all.

  • Nursery

    Melissa Nussman

    Melissa loves children, and she takes care of our babies in the church nursery.  When she is not in the nursery, she helps us in many other ministries as well, everything from working with the children, helping out in the kitchen, and helping us care for our facilities. We are grateful for her faithfulness and service to the Lord.
