Hang on and get ready to move out to the deep water and drop your nets.
I HAVE DECIDED - To Focus on Relationships
Description:Remember the old saying, "No man is an island?" Today's culture celebrates the individual but the real truth is that we really need each other. So how do we build strong, lasting relationships and address those harmful ones that prevent us from experiencing the life that God has for us?
I HAVE DECIDED - To Find My Purpose
Description:One of the biggest questions we ask today is not the WHAT question but instead the WHY question. There is a Hebrew word (Chazown) that is translated "purpose, dream, vision or revelation." What is my purpose in life? Why did God put me here? How do I discover God's puroose for my life?
I HAVE DECIDED - To Follow Jesus
Description:Many of us grew up in church singing that great old hymn, "I have decided to follow Jesus - no turning back." Those words are powerful and speak of good intentions but what happens when we are confronted by our culture and base those intentions more on convenieice than upon godly convictions? What does Jesus really expect from us when we accept His invitation to follow Him?
I HAVE DECIDED - Only One Thing Is Needed
Description:Remember the story of Jesus visiting the home of Martha and Mary? There was a conflict there because Martha was busy taking care of preparations in the kitchen while her sister sat at Jesus feet. When she complained to Jesus about Mary His response was priceless. Why did Jesus come to earth?

What are the benefits of living a "Stand Up Life?" How do we live this way in our world today?
DANIEL - Handwriting on the Wall
Description:There is an old expression that I grew up hearing: "The handwriting is on the wall." It meant that an obvious outcome was on the way and it would be foolish to think that this outcome could be avoided. That expression dates back to the days of Daniel when he was asked to interpret a vision of the Babylonian king. Does this message still speak to us today?
DANIEL - Faith in the Fire
Description:The incredible stories of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego remind us of courage in the midst of adversity, faith in response to intimdating threats, and glorious celebrations of God's deliverance from life threatening mandates. How do we stay the course when times get tough? How do we walk by faith when we have to walk through the fire?
DANIEL - The Babylon Mentality
Description:The world in which we live is filled with chaos and confusion. We hear about a mad gunman who takes an arsenal of weapons into a hotel room and then begins randomly shooting into the crowd. This deranged way of thinking occurs when we reject or ignore God and make decisions based on our personal feelings and gut reactions. This insanity is what we are calling "The Babylon Mentality."
DANIEL - Culture Shift
Description:The Book of Daniel is filled with stories that we have heard since we were children. The lion's den, fiery furnace, three Hebrew children, etc. It is also a look into the life and courageous faith of a young man who "resolved himself" to remain true to God even in a pagan culture. Will we chose to be world changers or allow the world to change us?

Description:Most of the communication we hear and read today is negative, critical and self-promoting. But God says that we are capable of speaking words of life that encourage, build up and heal. Mother Teresa said, "Words which do not give the light of Christ increase the darkness."
Description:Have you noticed how the word "commitment" in our culture doesn't mean what it used to mean? Somehow the depth and strength of our commitments relies more on our circumstances than our convictions. Do you honor your commitments - even in uncomfortable situations? What about to God? Family? Yourself?
Description:When you go back and look at the Early Church over 2000 years ago, you discover that this movement survived incredible difficulty persecution. The truth is that they didn't just survive but rather they thrived! I believe the key lies in a statement Jesus made to them on the night before He would be crucified. "By this will all men know that you are My disci ples, if you LOVE one another." Divine affection is the most effective attraction!
YOU ASKED: WHAT IS SPIRITUAL WARFARE?
Description:The Apostle Paul writes to the church in Ephesus and describe the Christian life as a "struggle, a fight and warfare against evil forces." Is there really a Devil and demons who are waging war against the things of God and the people of God? The Bible tells us we are in a fight but can we survive the battle? More importantly, can we WIN?
YOU ASKED: WHAT ABOUT HELL?
Description:How often do you think about HELL? Sometimes when a preacher speaks on HELL he is labeled as a "hell-fire and brimstone" who is just trying to get an emotional response from his audience. The truth is that the Bible has much to say about HELL and Jesus spoke more about HELL than He did even Heaven. What does the Bible say about HELL?

Description:Does God still speak to us today? Dallas Willard says, "If God doesn't speak today, then the greatest disservice we could ever do to people is to tell them that they could have a personal relationship with God." I believe God is speaking and wants to address the issues on our hearts and in our lives but the bigger question is - Are we listening?

DAVID: A Fallen King
Description:Sex scandal. It is sad to say but this has become a common occurrence in our culture today. Politicians, athletes, actors, successful business people and even ministers have fallen into this temptation. Today we look at a pivotal point in David's life where this "man after God's own heart" chooses the thrill of the moment over a life of obedience to God. Key thought: It is easier to avoid temptation than it is to resist sin!
Woe is Me!

DAVID: Killer Giants
Description:The story of David defeating Goliath as a young shepherd boy is epic. His courage, faith and heart for God were put on display for all to see. But what about those emotions of anger, isolation and fear? These "killer giants" can cause us to panic and do things that lead to some of life's greatest regrets.
Description:Being "politically correct" is a new phrase that has become quiet common in our culture. It refers to a large issue that everyone is acutely aware of, but nobody wants to talk about. What is the relationship between God and government? How should be as Christians respond to the division and and emotional tension that accompanies the issues of politics and government?
DAVID: A Reluctant Hero
Description:David went from being a simple shepherd boy to a national hero almost overnight. When he encountered the Philistine giant and heard his threats, David was offended because he saw something that Saul and the other soldiers did not see. Those who hope in the Lord see clearly, act confidently and walk humbly.
Father's Day: Man in the Mirror
Description:Happy Father's Day! Men today are required to be good providers, but not workaholics, strong yet sensitive, masculine but not macho, and a Mr. Fix-it who still stops and asks for directions. It's a lot to navigate. Memorial Day Service: Honoring Our Heroes
Description:John Bunyan, author of the classic book Pilgrim's Progress, once said, "You haven't lived today until you've done something for someone who cannot pay you back." Few people in America understand this statement as well as those who served in the U.S. military. They have performed a tremendous service that cannot be repaid. And untold numbers have made the ultimate sacrifice... giving their lives for the cause of freedom. We honor you!

THOSE PEOPLE: Critical & Negative
Description:How many of you have to deal with someone who is very critical and negative? We are criticized by our friends, family members, coworkers, and even other Christians when we don't meet their expectations. Maybe you are not the recipient but rather the one who deals out the criticism toward others. How does God want us to respond to this issue that can become devastating to our relationships and destructive to our testimony?
THOSE PEOPLE: Hypocrites
Description:The number one criticism that I hear from non-Christians about Christians is that they are all a bunch of hypocrites. Hypocrisy is defined the state of pretending to have beliefs, opinions, virtues, feelings, qualities, or standards that one does not actually have. The word comes from a Greek word used to describe a stage actor who hides behind a mask. It is someone who is only playing a role but they aren't the real thing. Do you know anyone like this?
THOSE PEOPLE: Manipulators
Description:How many of you know someone at some point in your life, who would try to to control you, maipulate you or impose their plans for your life upon you? How do we recognize the negative intentions and break their control over out lives?
THOSE PEOPLE: Overly Needy
Description:Some of you may have a person in your life where everything is a DRAMA; they are always the victim and the world is against them. The need may be financial, physical or even emotional and it seems to be chronic. No matter what you do, it is never enough and sometimes you regret ever getting involved. How should we respond to these people so that we might help them in the right way?
THOSE PEOPLE: How to Deal with Them
Description:Do you have any "difficult people" in your life? Those family members, neighbors, co-workers, and acquaintances that can drain your energy and make situations tense, awkward and challenging. What does God have to say about the way we handle "Those People?"
EASTER: He is RISEN!
Description:If you were to say to me that you were not a Jesus Follower, but that you would give me the chance to take my best shot at convincing you to trust Jesus - what would I say? FOUR CUPS: Christ the Lamb
Description:Over the past few weeks we have looked at Four Foundational Promises that God makes to His people. In the Passover Celebration these four cups symbolized these promises but the centerpiece of the meal would have been LAMB - the sacrifice, the blood over the door posts, the cost for forgiveness of sin, and the requirement of God. The key to these promises of salvation, restoration, redemption and blessing all center around Jesus, the Lamb of God
FOUR CUPS: Praise
Description:Hallelujah! It's that word that many Christians use to rejoice and thank God. The root word (hallel) means to celebrate, boast, or rave - an exclamation of victory. This fourth cup is called the Cup of Praise (or hallel) at which God's people rejoice in their identity as a part of God's family and for the life of purpose and fulfillment that God brings.
